PFF election schedule adjusted to Eid Milad un Nabi holiday

The provincial and territorial elections of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) will be held on September 19 and 20. The dates have been slightly readjusted to observe Eid Milad un Nabi (SAW) on Sep 17.The elections will see the participation of the winning District Football Association (DFA) candidates from Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).The elections for Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir will be conducted on September 19 while Punjab, Balochistan, and Gilgit-Baltistan are scheduled for September 20.The election cycle began with the publication of the preliminary voting list on August 28, 2024. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemns blast near police mobile in Kuchlak

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has strongly condemned the blast near a police mobile on Bostan Road in Kuchlak. The Interior Minister paid homage to the 2 police personnels who were martyred in the blast. He expressed deep condolences to the bereaved families.Interior Minister also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured. He said that we salute the sacrifices of the martyred personnels. The steps taken to prevent monkeypox (Mpox) have been strengthened at the nation's airports. The number of staff from Border Health Services at Jinnah International Airport has been boosted. Now, there will always be two doctors available, up from one before. Also, the team of medical assistants has grown from five to ten. In August, a total of 146,722 travelers were examined at Jinnah International, and since the start of the surveillance, only one traveler with symptoms was sent to hospital on August 31 for further checks.
