ISSI hosts Roundtable Discussion with EU Special Envoy for Non-Proliferation and Disarmament

June 12, 2025(Kamran Raja): The Arms Control and Disarmament Centre (ACDC) at the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI) hosted a wide-ranging Roundtable Discussion with EU Special Envoy for Non-Proliferation and Disarmament Ambassador Stephan Klement. The session at the ISSI was aimed at exchanging views on a range of subjects, including arms control, non-proliferation, and disarmament. 12 June 2025(Kamran Raja): ASF staff recovered 888 grams of ice drugs from a passenger on a flight to Bahrain. According to the details, the passenger, Shoaib Ali son of Ali Bakhsh, who was leaving on a flight to Bahrain, had skillfully hidden the drugs in his trolley bag. However, the ASF staff declared the luggage suspicious during scanning and later, during a detailed search, recovered the carefully hidden drugs and foiled the smuggling attempt.
