FIA Lahore Zone Continues Crackdown Against Hawala/Hundi Network

 Lahore, 22 May 2026(kamran Raja):FIA Lahore Zone has intensified its crackdown against individuals involved in illegal Hawala/Hundi and unauthorized currency exchange activities. During a raid conducted in Shah Alam Market, FIA officials arrested two suspects allegedly involved in Hawala/Hundi operations and illegal currency exchange. According to the spokesperson, more than PKR 1 million in cash was recovered from the accused. Mobile phones and other evidence related to Hawala/Hundi and illegal currency exchange activities were also seized during the operation. The accused have been taken into custody and further investigation has been initiated.

22 May 2026(Kamran Raja):Pakistan Army has intensified its counterterrorism operations across several districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, resulting in the killing of 23 militants linked to Fitna-al-Khwarij during the past 48 hours. The intelligence-based operations were conducted in the areas of Datta Khel, Spinwam, and Bannu, where troops engaged multiple militant hideouts after receiving credible intelligence reports. Among those killed was Jan Meer alias Toor Saqib, described by officials as a key militant commander wanted in several attacks against security forces and civilians.
