 Lahore, 29 October, 2026 (Kamran Raja): Noreen Niazi, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has been shifted from Kot Lakhpat Jail to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) in Lahore after developing a heart problem, according to her lawyer, Rana Mudassar Umar. The lawyer confirmed that she was undergoing initial medical tests at the hospital to assess her condition. In a statement posted on social media platform X, Rana Mudassar Umar said Noreen Niazi had been transferred to PIC due to her deteriorating health in jail. Meanwhile, PTI has expressed concern over her health while in detention. The lawyer also alleged that no member of her family had been informed about her transfer to the hospital.
