Two ASIs Die During Training Race at Elite Force Centre in Lahore

 LAHORE, August 28, 2026 (Kamran Raja): Two assistant sub-inspectors (ASIs) died during a training race at the Elite Force Training Centre on Bedian Road in Lahore on Thursday. According to police sources, ASI Syed Tasawar Shah of the Rawalpindi Patrolling Police died while participating in the race. Sources said he died due to extreme heat and high humidity. Another ASI, Muhammad Arshad, son of Muhammad Shafi, from the Sargodha Region, also fell ill during the training race and was shifted to a hospital for treatment, where he later died. Four Terrorists Killed in Peshawar CTD Operation

 PESHAWAR, August 28, 2026 (Kamran Raja): Four suspected terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan were killed during an intelligence-based operation conducted by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Peshawar on Thursday. According to the CTD Peshawar Region, the operation was carried out in Mehr Gul Kalay Cemetery in the Mirakchori area.
