Rawalpindi, 17 April 2025(Kamran Raja)ISPR: An Investiture Ceremony was held at the General Headquarters (GHQ), Rawalpindi, where General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), Chief of Army Staff (COAS), conferred military honours on officers and soldiers of the Pakistan Army in recognition of their exceptional valour in operations and distinguished service to the nation. The ceremony was attended by a large number of senior military officials and families of the award recipients. Decorations conferred included the Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military) and Tamgha-i-Basalat. United Nations, April 16, 2025(Kamran Raja): Noting the risk of reversal of the gains made under the Revitalized Peace Agreement (R-ARCSS) over the past seven years in South Sudan, Pakistan has urged the parties to engage in direct dialogue for the benefit of the people of South Sudan. Pakistan extended its support for an inclusive dialogue between the government and the opposition, commending the efforts made by Special Representative of the Secretary-General (SRSG) Haysom in this regard.
