Dera Ismail Khan, 26 September, 2026 (Kamran Raja): At least 12 people were killed and 35 others injured on Saturday when an explosives-laden vehicle was rammed into the Aman Mela police checkpost in Darazinda tehsil of Dera Ismail Khan, officials said. DI Khan Regional Police Officer Ghulam Mubashir Maken confirmed the casualties based on an initial assessment, saying no law enforcement or security personnel were among the deceased, which included a Customs official and civilians.
