Pakistani Forces Repel Coordinated Attacks by Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij; Heavy Losses Inflicted on Attacking Elements

RAWALPINDI- 15 October 2025(Kamran Raja): In the early hours of 15 October 2025, Afghan Taliban elements carried out a coordinated and cowardly attack at four locations in the Spin Boldak area of Balochistan. The attacks were effectively repulsed by Pakistani Forces. While defending the border, Pakistani troops engaged the attacking groups decisively. During the engagements, an estimated 15–20 Afghan Taliban fighters were killed and many others injured. The situation remains under close observation as reports indicate further build-up at staging points associated with Fitna al-Khawarij and the Afghan Taliban. The attackers deliberately targeted and devastated the Pak–Afghan Friendship Gate on the Afghan side — an act that underscores the hostile intent and disregard for the centuries-old t...

Pakistan Condemns Indian Military’s Provocative Statements; Warns Against Actions That Threaten Regional Peace: ISPR

Rawalpindi- 15 October 2025(Kamran Raja): It has been noted with grave concern that, five months after Maarka-e-Haq, and in the run-up to elections in Bihar and West Bengal, elements of the Indian military leadership have begun repeating the same delusional, fabricated and provocative propaganda that is typically circulated before state elections. It is deeply troubling to see the military leadership of a nuclear-armed state issuing irresponsible statements under obvious political pressure. The falsehoods being fed to the Indian public and the international community have degraded the credibility of India’s military messaging and reduced a once-respected institution to a source of ridicule. Any professional soldier understands that unnecessary chest-thumping and unwarranted public statemen...

The Hidden Aspects of Flood

By Dr Rafia Batool Khan , Climate change not only hits the newspaper headlines but also knocks at the doorstep. Each monsoon in the Pakistan heralds less like a renewal of life and more like a rehearsal for ruin. The 2025 floods, that encroached the wide stretches of industrial triangle of Sialkot, Gujrat, Gujranwala and its adjoining areas, were neither the first calamity, nor will they be the last. What has lingered, long after the waters withdrew, is something less visible yet infinitely heavier: the quiet crisis of the human mind. The flooded fields of Sambrial, a Tehsil of Sialkot district, reveal the scale of destruction left by the 2025 floods. Roads are dry and many fields re-ploughed, but the scars remain. The government’s machinery was in motion 5 teams livestock, agriculture,...
