Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi Meets Chinese Delegation Led by Minister Chen Mingguo

Islamabad 21 September 2024: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with a high-level Chinese delegation led by Minister for Political and Legal Affairs Chen Mingguo. Federal Minister for Interior warmly welcomed Minister Chen Minguo and his delegation upon their arrival at the Ministry of Interior. During the meeting, it was agreed to enhance cooperation in various fields, including counter-terrorism, cross-border cooperation, anti-smuggling, and anti-narcotics efforts. During the meeting Pakistan-China relations, particularly with Xinjiang, and matters of mutual interest were discussed. During the meeting, it was agreed to conduct joint police and paramilitary forces exercises in Gilgit-Baltistan or Xinjiang and train Gilgit-Baltistan police officers at the Xinjiang Police Academy...

AIOU Commences Spring 2024 Exams Final exams for Matric, FA, and ICom programs offered in the Spring 2024 semester by Allama Iqbal Open University are set to begin today (Monday, September 2) across the country. Roll number slips have been uploaded to the students' CMS portals, and the date sheet is available on the university's website at www.aiou.edu.pk. Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Nasir Mahmood, has instructed to ensure the provision of basic facilities for students at the examination centers. On the special instructions of the Vice-Chancellor, the roll number slips for Matric and Intermediate exams have also been uploaded to the AIOU Mobile Application, which is available on the Google Play Store. NDMA DELEGATION’S VISIT TO USA Chairman NDMA Lieutenant General Inam Haider Malik, HI (M) along with 10 members delegation visited USA on Special Invitation from Headquarters US Army Central (ARCENT) from 23 to 29 July 2023. This visit was in sequel to Lieutenant General Patrick D. Frank's (Commanding General ARCENT) visit to NDMA in June this year and a continuation of bilateral engagements between US ARCENT and NDMA. Chairman NDMA and delegation was received by Major General Henry S. Dixon (Deputy Commanding General ARCENT) and his staff at Shaw Air Force Base in Colombia, South Carolina.
