ISLAMABAD, 13 October, 2026 (Nosheen): President Asif Ali Zardari has called for expanding legal migration opportunities for Pakistani workers and professionals in Europe, stressing that Pakistan’s sustained efforts to curb irregular migration should be matched by increased legal pathways, skills-based mobility and structured cooperation with the European Union. ISLAMABAD, 13 October, 2026 (Ghufran): Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, accompanied by Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry, visited Islamabad Police Lines and the Pakistan Monument, where he received a warm welcome and a guard of honour from police personnel. During his visit to Islamabad Police Lines, the Russian minister inspected a police parade, while special units presented him with a salute.
