MURREE, August 10, 2026 (Ghufran): Section 144 has been imposed at Mall Road and GPO Chowk in Murree from August 10 to August 16 to maintain law and order and prevent any untoward incident during Independence Day celebrations.Deputy Commissioner Murree Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi issued the notification on the recommendation of the District Police Officer Murree.Under the restrictions, only tourist families will be allowed to enter Mall Road and GPO Chowk. ISLAMABAD, August 10, 2026 (Nosheen): Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf has announced that the entire Hajj 2027 process has been digitized end-to-end on the special directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, the minister said pilgrims would be able to complete their Hajj applications and payments within minutes from the comfort of their homes through the Pak Hajj mobile application and digital portal.
