Six Policemen Injured in Attack on Balochistan Home Minister’s Convoy

QUETTA, 14 August, 2026 (Nosheen): Six police personnel were injured when armed assailants ambushed the convoy of Balochistan Home Minister Mir Zia Langau in Mastung, while the provincial minister remained safe.According to Mastung police, the minister’s convoy was travelling from Kalat to Quetta when armed men ambushed it at Guru in the Khadkocha area of Mastung district and opened fire. Six police personnel sustained injuries during the exchange of fire.Police said the attackers fled the scene following the incident, while a search operation has been launched to trace and apprehend the assailants.
