Bannu, 21 September 2026 (Kamran Raja): Two Frontier Corps (FC) personnel who were abducted by unidentified individuals in Bannu have been found dead, police said. According to police, the bodies of Havaldar Ishaq and Sepoy Umar Hayat were recovered from the Telgai area of Bannu and shifted to Khalifa Gul Nawaz Teaching Hospital for post-mortem examinations. The two personnel had reportedly been abducted a day earlier from the Saifan Kozi Khel Karam Garhi area. Police said an investigation was underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the abduction and deaths, while the identities of the suspected perpetrators and their motive had not yet been established.  LAHORE, 21 September, 2026 (Nosheen): Two sisters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, Uzma Khan and Noreen Niazi, have been detained for 30 days under Section 3 of the Maintenance of Public Order (MPO) on the orders of the Lahore deputy commissioner. The detention was carried out on a police recommendation amid concerns over a possible threat to public order. ISLAMABAD, 21 September, 2026 (Kamran Raja): Security forces have killed 37 terrorists in large-scale ground and air operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and areas along the Afghanistan border, according to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The ministry said intelligence-based operations were conducted in Kohat, Hangu and Thall, where nine terrorists were killed on September 20. In the border region adjoining Afghanistan, security forces destroyed three hideouts belonging to Fitna al-Khawarij and affiliated terrorist groups, along with a training centre for suicide bombers. Lahore, 20 September, 2026 (Kamran Raja): The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Commercial Banking Circle Lahore has arrested a wanted suspect allegedly involved in a Rs45 million banking fraud. The arrested suspect has been identified as Muhammad Abu Bakar, who was nominated in case No. FIA/CBC-14/2026 Lahore. According to the FIA, the suspect allegedly prepared a fake pay order worth Rs45 million belonging to a citizen and deposited the amount into his personal bank account. QUETTA, 20 September, 2026 (Kamran Raja): Security forces have foiled an attempt by terrorists to disrupt public movement on the N-25 highway near Kalat, killing five militants and safely rescuing 23 hostages, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said. According to the military’s media wing, the terrorists had established a checkpoint on the highway to abduct people, extort money and seize vehicles.
