Pakistan Condemns Houthi Attacks on Saudi Arabia, Reaffirms Support for Kingdom

Islamabad 8 September 2026(Kamran Raja): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the Houthi attack targeting civilian and energy facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, expressing Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the Saudi leadership and people.

In a statement posted on his official X account, the prime minister said he condemned “in the strongest terms” the attack, which left many people injured.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed Pakistan’s solidarity with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the brotherly people of Saudi Arabia.

He said such “dastardly attacks” threatened innocent lives as well as regional peace and security.

The prime minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast support for Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, security and territorial integrity, and prayed for the swift recovery of all those injured in the attacks.

Pakistan has consistently expressed support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and condemned acts that threaten its security, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
