FIA Lahore Zone Arrests Three Suspects in Crackdown on Counterfeit Products and Hundi/Hawala
PakistantimesLahore, 08 September 2026(Kamran Raja):The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Lahore Zone has arrested three suspects allegedly involved in the sale of counterfeit products and Hundi/Hawala and illegal currency exchange activities during separate operations in Lahore.

The operations were conducted by the Commercial Banking Circle and Corporate Crime Circle, Lahore, following which the suspects were arrested during raids carried out in different areas of Lahore.

The arrested suspects have been identified as Muhammad Amjad, Muhammad Ahmad, and Moasim Khan.

According to the FIA, Muhammad Amjad and Muhammad Ahmad were found involved in violations of the Copyright Act. A large quantity of counterfeit products bearing the names of a well-known company was recovered from their possession.

Meanwhile, suspect Moasim Khan was found allegedly involved in Hundi/Hawala and illegal currency exchangeactivities. A total of Rs. 38,500 in Pakistani currency, mobile phones, and other evidence related to Hundi/Hawala and illegal currency exchange were recovered from his possession.

The FIA has arrested all three suspects and launched further investigations into the cases.
