March 24, 2026(News Desk): According to sources Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif chaired a high-level meeting to review the evolving regional security situation and Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic efforts. The meeting was attended by senior military leadership and federal ministers. During the meeting, participants discussed Pakistan’s diplomatic initiatives aimed at facilitating the resolution of the Iran–United States conflict, including the possibility of hosting negotiations in Pakistan. Islamabad, 17 March 2026(Kamran Raja): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif chaired a review meeting to assess the implementation of fuel conservation and austerity measures in light of the prevailing regional situation. During the meeting, the Prime Minister was briefed on the progress made in implementing the government’s austerity and energy-saving initiatives. Officials informed the meeting that the directives issued by the Prime Minister are being effectively implemented across relevant institutions. Rawalpindi, 15 March 2026(Kamran Raja): Security Forces conducted an intelligence-based operation on 15 March 2026 in Lakki Marwat District on the reported presence of Khwarij belonging to the Indian proxy group Fitna al-Khwarij. During the operation, security forces effectively engaged the terrorist hideout. After an intense exchange of fire, five Khwarij were killed. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed Indian-sponsored Khwarij, who had been actively involved in multiple terrorist activities in the area.A sanitization operation is currently underway to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored Khwarij present in the area.
