Deputies of the House of Representatives of the 8th of the  National Assembly and local councils of deputies of the 29th legislature elected. Registration of delegate candidates ended on January 30. The campaign period runs from January 31 to February 24. February 25 is the main election day.Early voting takes place from February 20 to 24. A total of 5,411 polling stations are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on February 25. Additionally, some voters can vote at home. No less than 45,505 national observers followed the debates. AIR CHIEF MARSHAL( RETIRED) HAKIMULLAH LAID TO REST WITH FULL MILITARY HONOURS Air Chief Marshal( Retired) Hakimullah passed away at the age of 88 at PAF Hospital, Islamabad on Friday after a prolonged illness. The Former Air Chief was laid to rest at his native vill, Sheikh Kali in Charsadda with full military honours. A dashingly turned out contingent of Pakistan Air Force presented gun salutation at his grave.
