The incident occurred when an improvised explosive device (IED) was detonated, specifically targeting the police security vehicles accompanying the diplomats. Fortunately, all diplomats remained unharmed.
Authorities are investigating the attack, and further security measures are being taken to ensure the safety of foreign officials in the region.
