Lahore, 22 May 2026(kamran Raja):FIA Lahore Zone has intensified its crackdown against individuals involved in illegal Hawala/Hundi and unauthorized currency exchange activities.
During a raid conducted in Shah Alam Market, FIA officials arrested two suspects allegedly involved in Hawala/Hundi operations and illegal currency exchange.
According to the spokesperson, more than PKR 1 million in cash was recovered from the accused. Mobile phones and other evidence related to Hawala/Hundi and illegal currency exchange activities were also seized during the operation.
The accused have been taken into custody and further investigation has been initiated.
