Federal Minister of Religious Affairs meeting with Saudi Minister of Hajj

Federal Minister of Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain met with Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiyyah.
In the meeting, there was a detailed discussion regarding bilateral relations and arrangements for Hajj 2024. Additional Secretary Dr. Attaur Rehman and DG Haj Abdul Wahab Soomro also participated in the meeting.
Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain is grateful for the excellent support of the Saudi government for providing services to Hajj.
He said the ongoing reforms of the Saudi government are exemplary for Hajj. There is positive progress regarding the new Pakistan House in Makkah and Madinah.

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs said Saudi companies responsible for providing services under the leadership of the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah are doing a good job.

Expressed concern over the pending transport contracts of 40 thousand private pilgrims.

Chaudhry Salik Hussain said Saudi Ministry of Hajj expects Hajj group operators to complete all contracts in next four days. Pakistan’s Hajj group operators should reform and follow Saudi directives. Ministry will take action if pilgrims are inconvenienced due to delay of private Hajj group operators.
