China will continue to play a constructive role in resolving the crisis in the Middle East THE PAKISTAN TIMES #THEPAKISTANTIMES

China will continue to play a constructive role in resolving the crisis in the Middle East on its own initiative and play a role in resolving problems, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Mao Ning.
The Chinese side calls on all parties to the ongoing conflict in Gaza to immediately cease hostilities.
Mao Ning made these comments at a regular press conference held on Thursday between Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

During the telephone conversation, Mao emphasized that China strongly condemned the attack on Iran’s embassy in Syria, that the security of foreign institutions would not be endangered, and that the sovereignty of Iran and Syria should be respected.
Mao added that this phase of escalation was the last manifestation of the conflict in Gaza and that it was important for the conflict to end as soon as possible.
China calls on all parties to the conflict to implement UN Security Council Resolution 2728, immediately cease fire and hostilities, and end the humanitarian crisis. Resolution adopted on March  is the first United Nations Security Council resolution calling for a ceasefire in Gaza following the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in Gaza on October.
