Islamabad Marks the 65th Anniversary of the First Human Spaceflight

Islamabad, April 12, 2026(Kamran Raja):The Embassy of the Russia in Pakistan commemorated the 65th anniversary of the historic first human spaceflight with a wreath-laying ceremony held at the monument of Yuri Gagarin in Fatima Jinnah Park.The ceremony was attended by Ambassador Albert P. Khorev, Additional Foreign Secretary of Pakistan Ayesha Ali, and ambassadors from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
