ISSI hosts event commemorating Egypt’s ‘Revolution Day’

July 16, 2025(Nosheen): The Centre for Afghanistan, Middle East and Africa (CAMEA) at the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI), in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Pakistan Africa Institute for Development and Research (PAIDAR), organized an event to commemorate Egypt’s ‘Revolution Day’. The proceedings, which began with the national anthems of Pakistan and Egypt, were moderated by Ms. Amina Khan, Director CAMEA. Pakistan removed from the UK’s Air Safety List

16 July 2025, Islamabad(Kamran Raja): Today’s announcement means that all Pakistani airlines can now apply to operate flights to the UK. Following air safety improvements, the UK’s Air Safety Committee has lifted UK restrictions on Pakistani carriers. Islamabad 14 July 2025(Kamran Raja): The Food and Agriculture organization of the United Nations (FAO) has concluded a critical emergency project that provided support to flood-affected farming and herding communities in Pakistan Balochistan and Sindh provinces, made possible through generous funding from the Government of Japan.  The FAO-led intervention, backed by a contribution of USD 6.48 million, focused on restoring food production, improving household nutrition, and building longer-term resilience in areas devastated by the unprecedented 2022 floods.
