Islamabad, 12 March 2026 ( Kamran Raja): The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has successfully completed the Assignment Stage of the Next Generation Mobile Services (NGMS) / 5G Spectrum Auction, marking a significant step toward the introduction of 5G services across Pakistan.During this stage, the specific frequency positions within the auctioned spectrum bands were finalized, enabling participating mobile network operators to effectively plan and deploy their next-generation networks.In the 2600 MHz band, Jazz secured 70 MHz, while Zong and Ufone acquired 60 MHz each.
