Full Scale Two Days Department for Transportation Assessment of IIAP Islamabad

DfT Team Members are the Mr. Abdul Ghaffar, Mr. Andrew Shrives, Mr. Daniel Padgett, Nasir Mahmood. The DfT team members came at airport at about 0615 hrs and visited B-6 Lounge to observe UK Additional Measures for British Airways Flight BA-260, following which the team visited Apron for observing Aircraft Protection measures. Later, the DfT team assessed security measures at baggage makeup area, BHS SOR, BHS Reconciliation Room and gate measures at entries of the said location. Subsequently, the team visited CCTV room where they observed CCTV archive footage for screening of airport supplies. The team then visited Pass Section for a briefing about Airport ID and Vehicle Passes issuance procedures. On the second day of 23rd May 2024, the DfT team members arrived at airport at about 0646 hrs and visited Dom Staff gate level-l to observe staff screening measures. Later, the team observed security measures at FoH (Int'l Hold Baggage Counter) and CSA (Int'l Hand Baggage Counter). Subsequently, the DfT team visited Catering Gate to observe security measures at the said Vehicle Check Point. In the end, the team visited CSO office for debriefing meeting.
