Islamabad, 06 August 2026 (Kamran Raja): Security Forces conducted two high-tempo intelligence-based operations in Washuk and Mastung districts of Balochistan on August 5 and 6, 2026, as part of the ongoing counter-terrorism campaign under “Operation Rad-ul-Fitna-3” aimed at eliminating Indian-sponsored proxies and dismantling terrorist networks. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operations resulted in the elimination of 12 terrorists belonging to Fitna Al Hindustan.
On August 5, 2026, Security Forces detected the movement of six terrorists in Washuk District, Balochistan. The troops effectively engaged the terrorists through a precise and skillful operation, resulting in the killing of all six terrorists associated with the Indian proxy group, Fitna Al Hindustan. In another intelligence-based operation conducted on August 6, 2026, in Mastung District of Balochistan, six more terrorists were eliminated following an intense exchange of fire between Security Forces and the militants. The terrorist hideout was also destroyed during the operation.The ISPR stated that under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam,” approved by the Federal Apex Committee of the National Action Plan, Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan remain fully committed to eliminating the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country. Security Forces continue to conduct intelligence-based operations across Pakistan to ensure the safety and security of citizens and bring all elements involved in terrorism and violence to justice.
