1 August, 2026 (Ghufran) : The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially announced the 12 host venues for the 2027 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia under the tournament theme, “Three Nations, One Heartbeat.“The announcement was made during the tournament launch ceremony held in Johannesburg, confirming eight venues in South Africa, three in Zimbabwe, and one in Namibia for cricket’s premier 50-over event.
South Africa will host matches at the iconic Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg, SuperSport Park in Centurion, Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town, Kingsmead Cricket Ground in Durban, St George’s Park in Gqeberha, Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein, Boland Park in Paarl, and Buffalo Park in KuGompo City (formerly East London). Zimbabwe’s matches will be played at Harare Sports Club in Harare, Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo, and the Fale Mosi-oa-Tunya International Cricket Stadium in Victoria Falls.
Namibia will make its historic debut as a World Cup host nation, with the Namibia Cricket Ground in Windhoek staging tournament fixtures. The 2027 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup will feature the world’s top 14 teams, making it one of the largest editions of the tournament. The event also marks the return of the Cricket World Cup to the African continent for the first time in 24 years, following the 2003 edition jointly hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Kenya.
