Statement by ISPR on the recent attacks The latest acts of terrorism in Pakistan, particularly those that occurred in Gwadar, Turbat, and Besham, are heinous crimes intended to undermine the country's internal security framework. The military forces successfully prevented the first two assaults, but the most recent incident at Besham claimed the lives of six innocent people, five of whom were Chinese. The whole country categorically denounces this heinous crime and is in sympathy with our Chinese brethren. Suicide Attack in Shangla/Basham, KPK Pakistan A minibus carrying 6 people [5 Chinese and 1 Pakistani] from Battagram to Dasu was attacked by terrorists with a suicide bomb, all 6 passengers were unfortunately killed, as were the Chinese workers.
