COMSTECH and Indonesia Launch Fellowships in Virology and Vaccine Technologies for OIC Scientists

Ten fellowships have been awarded to scholars from eight OIC member states: Egypt, Malaysia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Uganda, Iran, Jordan and Kazakhstan. in the field of virology and vaccine technology. The fellowships award ceremony was held on Thursday, at Ministry of Health, in Jakarta, Indonesia.These fellowships have been awarded under the COMSTECH Fellowships Program for Research and Advanced Training in Virology and Vaccine Technologies. Pakistan Navy and British Royal Navy conduct joint naval exercise White Star in the Arabian SeaPakistan Navy ships PNS Aslat and PNS Timur while Royal Navy ship HMS Lancaster participated in the naval exercise. Maritime patrol aircraft of Pakistan Navy, aircraft of Pakistan Air Force and helicopters of Royal Navy also participated in the exercise. Various naval operations were demonstrated during the exercise. British Royal Navy Deputy Commander for Combined Maritime Forces participating in the exercise met with senior officers of Pakistan Navy.
