Once their own forces stopped the first attempt at entry, the terrorists drove a car packed with explosives into the post. They then carried out several suicide bombings, which caused a section of a structure to fall and resulted in the Shahadat of five courageous sons of the land.
The Shuhada consist of the following: Sepoy Nasir from Peshawar; Sepoy Raja from Kohat; Havildar Sabir from District Khyber; Naik Khurshid from District Lakki Marwat; and Sepoy Sajjad from District Abbotabad.
