Mach, 11 October 2026 (Kamran Raja): At least seven people were killed and more than 30 others injured when a truck collided with a passenger van near Zameendar Hotel in the Mach area of Balochistan on Sunday, police said. According to officials, the truck reportedly suffered brake failure and went out of control, causing both vehicles to plunge into a ravine. Rescue teams launched an operation to recover the victims and shift the injured to nearby medical facilities, while efforts were underway to transfer seriously injured passengers to Quetta for further treatment. The identities of the deceased and injured had not been released at the time of reporting. Police said an investigation was underway to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
