Saudi Arabia and Pakistan Sign Strategic MoU to Develop International Cricket Stadium in Jeddah

Islamabad, July 2, 2026(News Desk): The Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation (SACF) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support the development of an international-standard cricket stadium in Jeddah.

On this occasion Dr. Saif Nasser the Saudi Media Attache to Pakistan has said in public statement shared on the social media platform X , this landmark agreement as a significant step toward strengthening cricket cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.

Under the MoU, the Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation and the Pakistan Cricket Board will collaborate to promote the sport of cricket and advance cricket infrastructure in the Kingdom. The agreement includes the construction of a state-of-the-art international cricket stadium in Jeddah.

The MoU was signed by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation Chairman Prince Saud.

Speaking on the occasion, both leaders emphasized that the partnership extends beyond the construction of a cricket stadium. They described the agreement as a major milestone that will lay the foundation for a bright future for cricket in Saudi Arabia while reinforcing the strong sporting ties between the two countries.

The initiative reflects the shared commitment of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan to expanding cricket’s reach, developing world-class sporting infrastructure, and fostering greater collaboration in sports development.
