Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif inaugurated the third phase of the nuclear power plant project

The Prime Minister arrived in Karachi on a one-day visit and participated in the inauguration ceremony of Nuclear Power Plant III. Addressing the ceremony on this occasion, the Prime Minister said that Pakistan is importing fuel worth 27 billion dollars, Pakistan can move forward by saving billions of dollars in fuel import, the country needs cheap fuel. The prime minister said that solar energy can be very helpful in meeting the electricity requirement.

Shahbaz Sharif said that this project was finalized during the government of Nawaz Sharif, 1100 MW of nuclear power will be obtained from this project. The Prime Minister said that it is hoped that the friendly country China will reduce the price per megawatt, China and Pakistan are best friends and this friendship has become stronger in 75 years.

Shahbaz Sharif said that the CPEC project was signed during the tenure of Nawaz Sharif, thousands of megawatts of electricity are being generated in Pakistan from the CPEC project. He said that CPEC was delayed due to some difficulties in the past, there is full hope that CPEC projects will move forward with Pakistan-China relations. In his speech, the Prime Minister said that Thar coal can play a role in the development of Pakistan for hundreds of years; billions of dollars can be saved by getting energy from coal.
