Prime Minister Meets Saudi Ambassador, Reaffirms Commitment to Deepening Pak–Saudi Relations

Islamabad: Wednesday, 31 December 2025(Kamran Raja):  H.E. Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif earlier this evening at the Prime Minister’s House. During the warm and cordial meeting, the Prime Minister conveyed his respectful regards and best wishes for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as well as for His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Expressing satisfaction over the excellent state of Pakistan–Saudi Arabia relations, the Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong commitment to further deepen the long-standing fraternal ties between the two brotherly countries. In this regard, he thanked His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for his continued patronage and support to Pakistan, which has brought bilateral relations closer than ever before.

The Prime Minister fondly recalled his meetings with His Royal Highness the Crown Prince during the year, noting that these engagements were highly productive and played a significant role in elevating Pak–Saudi cooperation to new heights. He also expressed deep appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s consistent support to Pakistan in times of need, as well as the Kingdom’s constructive role in promoting regional peace and stability. Recent regional and global developments were also discussed during the meeting. The Prime Minister underscored the importance of maintaining peace and stability through dialogue and diplomacy. Ambassador Al-Malkiy conveyed warm greetings from His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to the Prime Minister. He reiterated the Kingdom’s desire to further expand cooperation with Pakistan in all areas of mutual interest.
