LONDON, 15 August, 2026 (Kamran Raja): Pakistan delivered an impressive performance at the 7th F-Class World Championship in Bisley, United Kingdom, with its 12-member contingent securing a total of 13 medals, including four gold, four silver and five bronze medals. The championship began on August 12 and brought together 207 leading long-range shooters from 24 countries. The first stage featured individual competitions at distances of 800, 900 and 1,000 yards on August 12 and 13. Pakistan achieved the highest medal tally in the FTR category at the championship, marking a significant milestone for the country, which has participated in international F-Class competitions for only three years. Lieutenant Colonel Junaid Ali led Pakistan’s medal campaign, winning three gold, one silver and one bronze medal. Sepoy Muhammad Waleed secured one gold and one bronze medal. In the Under-25 category, Huzaifa Gill won three silver and two bronze medals, while Ahsan Gill added another bronze to Pakistan’s tally. The team’s strong performance was further highlighted by seven Pakistani shooters finishing among the top 100 competitors at the prestigious international championship.
