
Islamabad, April 21, 2026(Kamran Raja): The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, received the Ambassador of China to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong, in Islamabad today.
During the meeting, both sides held detailed discussions on the latest regional developments and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest. Ambassador Jiang Zaidong conveyed China’s full support for and appreciation of Pakistan’s continued efforts to facilitate engagement between the United States and Iran, aimed at promoting sustained peace and stability in the region and beyond.
The Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister reaffirmed the Pakistan–China All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership, highlighting the enduring strength of bilateral relations. He emphasized the importance of sustained high-level exchanges and continued cooperation across diverse sectors to further deepen the longstanding friendship between the two countries.
Both sides reiterated their commitment to enhancing mutual coordination on regional and international issues and to working closely for shared objectives of peace, development, and stability.
