Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Qatari Foreign Minister Soltan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi on the sidelines of the 15th Organization of Islamic Cooperation held in Banjul, Gambia today.
The two sides discussed bilateral cooperation, especially in the field of energy. They agreed to further expand trade and investment and explore employment opportunities for Pakistanis in Qatar. In addition, views were exchanged on various recent events in the region and the world, especially in the Middle East.
The two leaders also expressed their solidarity with the Palestinian people and emphasised the urgency of ending the conflicts in Gaza and providing immediate aid to the people of Gaza.
