Islamabad, 16 May 2025(Ghufran): Important meeting between Acting US Ambassador Natalie Baker and Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. Matters of mutual interest, enhancing Pak-US relations and bilateral cooperation, and the situation after the Pak-India ceasefire were also discussed in the meeting. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi thanked US President Donald Trump and the ambassador for their key role in the ceasefire between Pakistan and India.
Mohsin Naqvi said that the credit for the ceasefire between the two nuclear powers goes to US President Donald Trump.
US President Donald Trump has served humanity by saving the region from a terrible disaster. We welcome US President Donald Trump’s positive views on Pakistan’s leadership. We want to further promote mutual cooperation with the United States.
The acting US ambassador said that Pakistan has excellent relations with the US. The US will continue to cooperate with Pakistan in various fields.
Federal Interior Secretary Khurram Agha was also present on the occasion.
