11 January 2024,Islamabad( Kamran Raja ): Overseas Chinese Association Pakistan, President Dr. La Jielian speak on the occasion of the fair well event organised by the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan Islamabad During the Reception Ceremony he welcome the chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Mr. Jiang, Embassy leaders, Mr. Wang and friends from Chinese enterprises, including overseas Chinese leaders and friends, and representatives of overseas students.
The traditional Chinese festival of the Spring Festival is approaching. Today we gather here to hold the “Warm Spring Festival-Celebrate the Chinese New Year” event and distribute “New Year Warm Heart Packages” to everyone.
This fully reflects the Party and the country’s high attention and care for our overseas Chinese in Pakistan; especially the “New Year Temple Fair” event arranged this year and the embassy leaders’ condolences to our overseas Chinese, which reflects the embassy’s care for our overseas Chinese here, on behalf of the overseas Chinese in Pakistan, I would like to express my sincere thanks to the embassy leaders.
Friends, everyone knows that an earthquake recently occurred in Shigatse, Tibet, my country. The Party and the country attach great importance to it and took various rescue measures at the first time. The people of the whole country are also united and actively rush to the disaster area. I am very moved and very emotional. As the children of China, although we work and live abroad, we are proud of our motherland.
At the same time, many overseas Chinese in Pakistan also expressed their concern for the disaster area to our association and said that they would actively participate in various donation activities. This also reflects the concern of our overseas Chinese in Pakistan for the people of the motherland.
Friends, although we face different difficulties and challenges in living abroad, with everyone’s efforts, overseas Chinese have achieved good results in all walks of life last year and are currently actively developing in a better direction. We can see that overseas Chinese Chinese food companies, sales stores, manufacturers, etc. are also booming.
I believe that living in Pakistan, a friendly neighboring country, our lives will be better and our careers will grow stronger. China-Pakistan friendship will be deeper.
