LAHORE, 17 August, 2026 (Ghufran) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Sunday night, the Foreign Office said on MondayThe two foreign ministers discussed recent regional developments and exchanged views on matters of mutual interest.Dar and Fidan reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation and enhancing coordination on issues of common concern.They agreed that dialogue and diplomacy remain the most effective way forward to address regional challenges and promote peace, stability and security.
