Culture has an important role in the promotion of tourism and cannot be ignored, said chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan Khalid Khursheed Khan in a meeting with Director General, Pakistan National Council of the Arts Dr. Fouzia Saeed. Chief Minister G. B appreciated the efforts of Dr. Fouzia Seed for the promotion of culture and especially regional culture PNCA’s offices in G.B will certainly play a great role in promoting northern areas culture and bring its artist to the main stream at National and international level. Earlier the DG, PNCA thanked the chief Minister for their help and cooperation in establishment of PNCA regional office. Fouzia Seed discussed the importance of culture with the Chief Minister and put forward few proposals including separate directorate for culture, establishment of a culture Centre with auditorium for culture activities. The Chief Minister assured all kinds of support to DG, PNCA to carry out her target of cultural development in the area. Fouzia Saeed also assured her all out support to materialize the ideas of promotion of art and culture.
