Saudi Arabia has started Islamic lessons in Chinese as well as other major languages of the world in Masjid al-Haram

Recently, an agreement was signed between the Saudi and Chinese Ministers of Education to teach Chinese language to Saudi students, after which Saudi Arabia has started Islamic lessons in Chinese as well as other major languages of the world in Masjid al-Haram. Saleh al-Rashidi, director of the General Presidency Department, said that Islamic lessons are now available in 14 languages: English, Urdu, French, Hausa, Turkish, Malay, Indonesian, Tamil, Hindi, Bengali, Persian, Russian, Borneo and Chinese.
