  Shehbaz Sharif’s Vision Comes True Mian Shehbaz Sharif’s government in Punjab from 2008 to 2018 will always be remembered for its youth initiatives. He undertook major reforms in school education and established the Punjab Education Endowment Fund, which awarded scholarships to 450,000 deserving students. He launched the Punjab Youth Policy in 2012 and his government inaugurated the Punjab International Sports Festival in which athletes from 26 foreign countries participated. I was honoured to execute Shehbaz Sharif’s vision as chief organiser of the festival together with a very capable team.
