Riyadh, 17 November 2025(Kamran Raja): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Riyadh on an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the invitation of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.Upon arrival at King Khalid Airport, Riyadh, the Prime Minister and the Pakistani delegation were warmly welcomed by the Deputy Governor of Riyadh, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki, Pakistani Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmed Farooq and senior diplomatic officials. Punjab Government Launches First-Ever E-Taxi Scheme

Lahore, 17 Sep 2025(News Desk): The Punjab government has formally launched the province’s first-ever E-Taxi Scheme under its flagship Transport Vision 2030, marking a major step towards modernizing urban transport and promoting eco-friendly mobility solutions. In the first phase, 1,100 electric taxis will be distributed among citizens. Interested applicants can submit their applications online through the official E-Taxi Punjab website until October 5, 2025. Officials said the initiative will significantly reduce air pollution and fuel costs, while providing citizens with a cost-effective and environmentally friendly transport option. Islamabad, September 16(Nosheen): A meeting of the Prime Minister’s Committee was held in Islamabad today under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, Professor Ahsan Iqbal, to review the damage assessment of the 2025 floods. The meeting was attended by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Chairman NDMA, Secretary of the Ministry of Climate Change, and Chief Secretaries of the provincial governments.
