Saudi Arabia Launches Second Pan-African Quran and Sunnah Competition in Senegal
Riyadh: 22 April 2026(Kamran Raja): The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has approved the organization of the second Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Competition for Memorizing the Holy Quran and the Prophetic Sunnah in Africa. The prestigious event will be held in Senegal from 6 to 11 Dhu Al-Qadah 1447 AH, bringing together 100 contestants representing 53 African countries.The competition is being organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by the religious attaché at the Saudi Embassy in Senegal, in cooperation with the General Authority for Awqaf.
