Islamabad, 7 November, 2026 (Ghufran): Security forces have eliminated four terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as part of ongoing counterterrorism efforts under the vision of Azm-e-Istehkam. According to security sources, the operation was conducted against members of Fitna al-Khawarij, resulting in the killing of four terrorists. A large quantity of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from the possession of the killed militants. Security sources said a clearance operation was underway in the area to eliminate any other terrorists potentially present in the vicinity. They reaffirmed that security forces remained determined to completely eradicate terrorism from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and ensure lasting peace and stability in the region.
