KHUZDAR, 05 September, 2026 (Nosheen): Earthquake tremors were felt in Khuzdar and surrounding areas of Balochistan on Friday, causing panic among residents. According to the Seismic Monitoring Centre, the earthquake measured 3.2 on the Richter scale and occurred at a depth of 10 kilometres. The seismic centre said the epicentre was located approximately 75 kilometres northwest of Khuzdar. Following the tremors, residents reportedly came out of their homes and shops and gathered in open areas as a precautionary measure. No casualties or property damage were reported immediately following the earthquake. Authorities are monitoring the situation and have advised citizens to remain calm and take necessary precautionary measures in case of any emergency.
