Sindh: Discovery of new gas reserves in Ghotki
Mari Petroleum Company announced the discovery of new gas reserves in the country. According to the announcement issued by Mari Petroleum Company, new gas reserves have been discovered in Ghotki district of Sindh province. The statement said that Ghotki is initially estimated to produce 51 lakh cubic feet of gas per day.
In the statement of Mari Petroleum Company, it has been mentioned that the gas well was drilled up to 1015 meters in Ghotki. In this regard, Faheem Haider, MD of Mari Petroleum Company says that this discovery of Ghotki gas is a major success of the company.
