
Islamabad, 14 August 2026(Ghufran): U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Natalie A. Baker called on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting focused on Pakistan-U.S. bilateral cooperation and recent regional developments.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar appreciated the positive trajectory in Pakistan-U.S. relations and underscored the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in achieving lasting peace and stability.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the implementation of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) of June 18 in letter and spirit was the only way forward. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to promoting regional peace and security while safeguarding the country’s national interests.
The U.S. Chargé d’Affaires appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting regional peace and stability.
Natalie A. Baker also conveyed her felicitations to Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar on the occasion of Pakistan’s Independence Day.
