Russia, 09 May 2026(Kamran Raja): May 9 holds a sacred place in the history of our nation as we honor the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who secured Victory in World War II. The memory of the immense price paid for peace and freedom remains forever in our hearts no one is forgotten, nothing is forgotten.
Every year, people across the world participate in concerts, commemorative gatherings, and cultural events dedicated to Victory Day, paying tribute to veterans, home front workers, and the descendants of the Great Warriors who defended humanity against fascism.
On May 9, Darina Korshunova and her fellow performers from the Vis-a-Vis Theater Studio participated in a special concert marking the 81st anniversary of the Great Victory. During the event, the young actresses presented a deeply moving performance highlighting the role and sacrifices of women during the Great Patriotic War.
The performance featured a poignant excerpt inspired by the renowned work of Svetlana Alexievich, “War Does Not Have a Woman’s Face,” bringing emotional depth and historical reflection to the stage. Through their heartfelt presentation, the young performers honored the bravery, endurance, and untold stories of women whose contributions during wartime remain unforgettable. Victory Day serves as a reminder of unity, remembrance, and hope for future generations.
